Renew Licenses This Week
With the turn of the calendar, September is a big month. Not only pumpkin spice everything comes out, but the start of the new hunting seasons. September 1 is the general day hunting starts for many outdoorsman, the time honored tradition of the dove hunt. However, with all the buildup and excitement leading into that day, many forget to renew their hunting/fishing licenses.
Texas Parks and Wildlife have made it easier than ever for sportsman to obtain their license well in advance of the big day. This week, the TPWD opened renewal licenses online or in stores.
It is important to be current as if you are found out in the woods or water without the current year license, you will be ticketed and fined. The fees from the licenses go towards wildlife conservation projects and helps the TPWD in providing the best outdoor experience in the world.
Be current and know you are doing your part to ensure that current and future generations will experience the great outdoors to come.
